A water soluble form of urea is already in use in Mercedes diesel engines I believe. The ammonia in the urea reacts with the particulates in the exhaust to reduce NOx emissions. Separate tank to fill, but it is supposed to last 15k or something? I don't really know much about it.

so would that be for just strait old fashion diesel or would that be a bonus for using bio diesel as well?

Based on this, a 20% biodiesel blend would increase NOx emissions by 2% (and also increase fuel consumption by 1-2%), so yes, the urea injection would be required for biodiesel. I don't know about straight WVO.
